Cute, Simple, and Affordable Ways to Entertain Your Kiddos

When you’re stuck at home with the kids and have nothing to do, don’t despair! It’s easier than you think to grab the crayons, glue, glitter, and paint and let their creativity shine. These fun activities for kids are easy, DIY, and can mostly be done with everyday items that you have around the house. (Your kids can do their part for the environment and keep themselves occupied at the same time.) You just need these sparks of inspiration to get the ideas flowing. What’s that you hear? It’s probably the sound of laughter and concentration, and certainly not a kid yelling, “I’m bored!” from the other side of the house.

The crayons and paper may give you ten minutes of peace if that. Being a Mom of five year old twins and a 12 year old daughter I am always trying to find ways to occupy them so I can get some things done around the house. I know the iPads, cell phones, youtube, and other technology or social media could babysit them ( no offense to those who use this method, totally get you have to do what you have to do to maintain some level of sanity as a Mom), but as my kids get older the more I try and guard what they watch and how much they are watching as well. Thankfully my 12 year old loves to read and that occupies her time, but HONEYY those twins lol whew some days I want to tape them to a chair (lol don't call CPS, I haven't and wouldn't do that). Here you will find somethings I use to keep my girls busy and learn at the same time. Breathe, Mommies we are in this together!

I’m a lover of blogs and bloggers. Truly blogs have offered me so many great ideas, a comforting reassurance that I’m not “alone” in this mothering journey, and a source of community over the past years.

Let the posts
come to you.
